The Project
A professional photographer for over 12 years, Jeff Gros has consistently pushed the boundaries of his creative medium, amassing an impressive and diverse portfolio. The award-winning Gros has photographed celebrities such as Kevin Garnett, Will Ferrel and Scarlett Johansson, and includes ESPN Magazine, Interscope Records and Sony Music amongst his impressive client list.
Never one to stop moving forward, Gros asked us to create a complete design overhaul including brand identity, business cards, letterhead, website and promotional book.
Our Solution
After numerous conversations with Gros, we began to formulate a vision for his brand which was consistent with his desire for an aesthetic that was “fun, simple and elegant”, and one that never overshadowed his work. The brand identity solution we delivered is confident and colorful, yet subtle enough to allow Gros’s vivid imagery to become the focus.
Carrying the brand identity over to his website, we crafted his online portfolio to contain beautiful whitespace and a unique, interactive image grid. We also developed a custom Content Management System allowing Gros to easily update all aspects of his site.
The Results
Our client’s enthusiastic response couldn’t have been better. The cohesive brand identity, website and promotional materials are the ideal solution for Gros, who plans on launching a full-promotional campaign in early 2008.
