ABOUT THE SHOW

Wonderful union is proud to present “Topografika” by the creative collaborative, Section Seven. The show is a visual experiment in artificial and imaginary microcosms and the life-forms that inhabit them. Each respective contributing member of the team is submitting an interpretation of this concept whether it be vinyl, sculptural, interactive, or printed visual.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

SectionSeven is a small design office and creative collaborative comprising of Jason Keimig, Jeremiah Whitaker, and Craig Erickson. Whether it be interactive, art, print, custom bicycles, skateboards, software and/or any other item that inspires the team, there is a profound joy found in applying a unique sense of design and creative thinking.

We are simply a group of designers, programmers, and artists who really enjoy working together and making things that excite our passions. With respect to this presentation we’ve been collectively obsessed with character design and imaginary environments for many years as they inhabit many niches within our sketchbooks and hard-drives. They will finally find some sort of temporary existence, if but fleeting, at this space of presentation.

We are also very excited to feature Huck Gee, a lifelong friend of Jeremiah’s and an extremely talented toy designer/artist.

Huck Gee is an international toy designer hailing from San Francisco. Pursued by art collectors worldwide for his small runs for original prints and hand crafted custom toys, and known to work with some of the industry’s best known designers and personalities: Kidrobot, Toy2r, ToyQube, Barneys, Marc Jacobs, Jil Sanders and Dj Qbert to name a few.

Additionally we’d also like to thank contributor and friend Jesse Graupmann for his influence, expertise, and knowledge of all things projected and interactive. Jesse is a very talented quasi-programmer/designer with a knack for hardware and surface displays.
